Kawasaki ZX-14
The Kawasaki ZX-14 is the flagship of Kawasaki motorcycles. The ZX-14 is the most powerful Kawasaki ever produced, and was once the fastest production motorcycle in the world. Kawasaki claims the new version is “the quickest and most powerful production motorcycle”. The ZX-14′s 1352CC, four-cylinder, DOHC engine makes incredible torque and power while this bike still handles great, not exactly a small feat of engineering!
Kawasaki claims this results is a gain of power! The ZX-14 has also become greener by adding a third catalyzer therefore reducing emissions and meeting ever-growing emission control regulations.
It’s monocoque design is a light and very strong frame.
The rear suspension uses Kawasaki’s ‘uni-trak’ design, helping to drop the center of gravity by lowering the weight within the chassis with bottom-link design.
The Kawasaki ZX-14 is an overall amazing motorcycle. Power and handling in one package.
Kawasaki ZX-10R
The 2008 Kawasaki ZX-10, also called the Ninja ZX-10R, is all about performance, on the streets, or tearing up the track. Kawasaki, and their engineers, have employed a liquid cooled, 998CC, Dual Overhead Camshaft engine, with four valves per cylinder, that pushes out 83.2 foot-pounds of torque at 8,700 rpm.
Kawasaki added new secondary fuel injectors that helped to add top-end performance, along with reshaping the intake and exhaust ports. The dual front brakes have semi-floating 310mm discs, with dual four-piston radial mounted calipers. The rear brakes have a single 220mm disc with a single-piston aluminum caliper. The 2008 ZX-10R Ninja is a world-class motorcycle with a legendary history of racing success.
